What is Live Local?

Live Local is a new non-profit organization that brings together groups and individuals who are committed to encouraging people to eat, dine, shop and experience everything our region has to offer. We’re here to help communities and independent businesses thrive and connect.

 

Live Local helps citizens, independent businesses and communities support independent entrepreneurs, keeps locally-owned businesses in business, and gets people working together to create healthy, vibrant communities.

We believe living local enriches our entire community, and we look for ways to help Edmontonians add local flavour, colour and energy to their lives. We work with local businesses to help them reach potential customers, so they can continue to invest in and support our local economy. We also help people understand the benefits of living local, and create networks that bring local producers, manufacturers, retailers and restaurants together.
