The Epi-curious Come Out to Dine during Fork Fest
EDMONTON, AB – Dine Local is kicking off the 5th annual Fork Fest on Sunday, January 16. 14 participating restaurants have created affordable multi-course menus to celebrate exceptional culinary options in communities throughout Edmonton.
Fork Fest is:
- A 10-day festival of fabulous food celebrating independent restaurants in Edmonton
- Not in one location, but all participating Dine Local locations – Fork Fest happens simultaneously at each member restaurant
- A culinary treat! Each Fork Fest restaurant is offering a multi-course meal for $25 or $45 —a great opportunity for people to surrender their taste buds to the difference an independent restaurant has to offer
- It’s also a fantastic way to say ‘thanks’ to the regular customers who choose to keep Edmonton’s palate diverse by supporting independent restaurants.
Each locally-owned restaurant is tasked with creating the best multi-course meal they can for a fixed price. Founder of Live Local Alberta, Jessie Radies, believes “Fork Fest is a great reason to try a new restaurant or visit a favourite and try something out of the ordinary. “ Radies, who also owns The Blue Pear Restaurant, adds “expect it to be busy and please make a reservation."
